The work on the next update for the Imperium: Aeternum Emperor and Imperium: Aeternum Wars is pretty much complete. There are still more work to be done on the Imperial Court, most notebly the actions for the Sovereign, the Successor and the Advisors. But even so this update will be the largest one yet.

A new currency will also be introduced, Imperial Influence, which is used when initiating diplomatic actions or leader specific projects. Once the Imperial Court actions are live, they will also cost Influence, forcing you to think strategically and prioritize your political moves. You won’t be able to do everything at once anymore, choose your path wisely!

What’s next? I am currently finishing the rulebook update. Once that is done, the update will be ready for prime time! I’m aiming to release it right around the time the sale ends. I also intend to record a new “How to Play” video guide to cover all these deep new features.
